And the Countdown to November Nine Begins….

november-nineLess than two weeks later, the spotlight of poker world will turn to Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for the ultimate battle of “November Nine” in the 45th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2014. On 10th November, the WSOP final table will kick off to crown its champion of 2014 awarding the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and a whopping guaranteed first-place prize of $10,000,000 while the remaining eight players will share another $18,480,121. WSOP will also induct its 2014 Poker Hall of Fame – Daniel Negreanu and Jack McClelland with this event’s climax.

6,683 players from 87 different nations entered the tournament back in July’14 and the field was slashed down to the Fab 9 with Luis Velador eliminating in the 10th place. 2014 WSOP Final Table will see represent immense diversity with players coming in from six different countries including the first-timer Brazil. The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Championship is expected to witness killer tactics and implausible strategies of poker on the tables of Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The 9 poker pros have already guaranteed a minimum of $730,725 to grab when the cards hit the air on 10th November. A list of “November Nine” players with their seats and chip stack is below:

Mark Newhouse is highlighting the November Nine as he returns back to the event after a ninth-place finish in last year’s main event. He is the first man since Dan Harrington (2003 & 2004) to make back-to-back final tables at the WSOP main event. Newhouse has 26 million in chips and the most playing experience on the final table. Jorryt van Hoof, the 31-year-old poker pro from Netherlands will start with the biggest stack on the final table with Felix Stephensen following closely with only a six million chip lesser than him.
