Aaron Lim had a photo finish to the 2013 Asia Pacific Poker Tour Seoul as he took down the main event after entering the final table as chip leader. His prize package includes KRW 121,700,000 and also a seat to the main event of the APPT Macau Asia Championship. Overcoming a field of 222 players, Lim began the final table as chip leader and overcame Chane Kampanatsanyakorn in heads up action.

Naoya Kihara was touted as the favourite to win as the Pokerstars online team member built a decent stack from the third position in chip stack. But he failed to make the final table and finished in 11th place after Lim benefited from his exit.

Casey Kastle was the first to exit from the final table while Masahiro Osada followed suit soon. The final 3 also includes Nick Tao JIn and once this was decided the players took a break to strike a deal. When that didn’t materialise, play resumed and Jin soon exit with KRW 103,500,000. The Seoul leg of the APPT Season 7 was the opening edition of 2013 and action will now move on to Cebu in May.
