Day 2 had started with 98 players still in the lurch. Day 1 had seen Tony Hachem, son of Joe Hachem in the chip lead and has kept his hopes alive by reaching the final table. The Final table is dominated by Aussie Poker pros’ including Craib, Daniel Neilson and Michael Kannan. Other Asia-Pacific Poker tourney regulars like Ioro Yogo also stay in contention for the ANZPT title.
While Craib leads with 2,900,000 chips he is closely followed by Kannan with 2,845,000 chips. Ian Thomas is next in the chips stack. The ANZPT is being conducted on the Repechange format for the first time but has received a very good response. Action will start very soon on Monday and a new winner will be crowned.
