Loni Harwood bettered her fantastic performance at the 44th Annual World Series of Poker(WSOP) by winning the $1500 NL Hold’em event and taking home a WSOP Bracelet and $609,000 in prize money. Harwood recorded the best performance by a female poker player in WSOP 2013 as she made 3 final tables this summer winning more than $875,00- the most any woman has won at a single WSOP.
The fact that Harwood had never earlier cashed in at the WSOP made her feat even more remarkable. She won the packed $1500 NL Hold’em event where 2500 poker players had entered. The 23 year old from New York joined an elite group of players who have featured at 4 final tables this WSOP. It is also a tie for the all time record for number of final tables set by Cyndy Violette in 2005.

In other events, the Little Drop for One Drop created history by having a record turnout. Brian Yoon won the event, his first WSOP Bracelet and $663,000. He triumphed over a field of 4756 poker players making it the second largest event this summer behind the Millionaire Maker Event. This event with a buy-in of $1,111 had debuted at the WSOP this year earned a payday for 495 players. Indian Player Rahul Byrraju Raju finished in 52nd place in this event.
