WPT Grand Prix De Paris Update: Matt Salsberg Leads after Day 2

WPT parisDefending Champion Matt Salsberg leads the Day 2 of World Poker Tour(WPT) Grand Prix De Paris with a stack of 212,600 chips but is trailed closely by Hicham HilmiVasili FirsauConnor Drinan, and David Peters. Hicham Hilmi lead Day 1b of the WPT Paris and stands a good chance.

Other poker players still in the field include Day 1a Chip leader Todd Terry, former WPT champion Marvin RettenmaierBryn KenneyTimothy Adams and Jason Koon. But there were also some notable poker players who fell on Day 2 including Lee MarkholtSteve O’DwyerPaul VolpeAntoine Saout, and Adrian Mateos. Mateos who has just won his first WSOP Bracelet at the WSOPE Paris Main Event hit the rail when he ran into Marvin Rettenmaier.

From a total of 187 entries, only 21 will finish in the money with the winner getting €340,000 plus the WPT Championship seat. There are 65 survivors lead by Matt Salsberg who is looking for back to back WPT Paris Titles.
