Jonathan Deepa leads Day 4 of 2013 ACOP Main Event, money bubble bursts

ACOPmainAmerican Jonathan Deepa started Day 3 in chip lead and as the curtains came down at the Pokerstars LIVE City of Dreams Casino for the 2013 ACOP Main Event, he was still in front with 662,000 chips. The money bubble burst at the 2013 ACOP HK$100,000 Main Event with the field trimming from 72 to 25. It was Russian David Martirosyan’s exit in the 26th place which ensured that the remaining 25 players finish in the money.

It was a fast day full of eliminations where almost fifty players crashed out in five levels of play. Notable poker players still in the field include Aaron Lim, Randy Lew and Terry Fan. Lew was the story of the day as he came from a small stack to finish the day in the money. Mervin Chan, Billy Argyros and Jack Alter were amongst the three dozen players who hit the rail.

Deepa will be leading Day 4 as it starts from the 2013 ACOP Main Event and at the end of it, a final table will be formed. It waits to be seen whether an Asian poker player will win this prestigious event.
