2014 WSOP: How the Indians and November Niners are doing in the Main Event?

2014wsopmeThe three Day 1 flights of the 2014 World Series of Poker(WSOP) $10,000 Main Event are in the books and its a huge headcount of 6,683 runners vying for the $10 Million guaranteed prize money. The Day 1a as expected drew a small crowd of 771 players, it went up to 2144 on day 1b and as always it was Day 1c, the last starting flight which saw the biggest crowd in 3,768 players. This huge group created a mega prize kitty of $62,820,000 which will be shared by the top 693 finishers.

While Martin Jacobsen accumulated 200,100 chips on Day 1a to lead, Trey Luxemburger garnered 193,450 chips to nose ahead on Day 1b. Day 1c was the biggest field and saw an end moment fight for supremacy with Eric Tracy(206,175 chips) edging past Phil Ivey’s 187,025 stack.
