WPT Jacksonville bestbet Open: Nabil Hirezi leads stacked FT

wptjaxNabil Hirezi is the chip leader with 2,792,000 chips as the final table of the World Poker Tour(WPT) Jacksonville bestbet Open has been formed. But he has tough competition from Champions Club members James Calderaro and Jordan Cristos. Also on the FT is Faraz Jaka, WPT Season VIII Player of the Year, Nghia Le and Brian Green. To make matters tougher or Hirezi, the table is stacked with two more Million plus stacks.

Day 3 ended yesterday after the 19 players returned to the felt and played down to a 6 player FT. Notable poker players like  Dylan Wilkerson (19th), Dan Heimiller (18th), Jason Mercier (16th), and John Racener (13th) exit on Day 3 and didn’t make the final cut.  Mercier, specifically had a good run while it lasted and was seeking his first ever WPT Crown. Jared jaffee has started the Day 3 in chip lead and was seeking his second WPT Jax title but fell short to exit in 12th place. But he did manage to accumulate some valueble WPT POY points to reach No 4 for WPT Season XII. He is behind Wilkerson (who also added 50 points today for a new total of 2,100), Shaun Suller (2,150 points), and leader Mukul Pahuja (2,250 points).

James Calderaro has a shot at back to back WPT titles in Florida since he won the Lucky Hearts Poker Open and $271,103 in February last year. Action on WPT Jax resumes in a couple of hours and the FT will play down to a winner who will take home the title, top money of  $206,041 and a coveted spot to the WPT Champions Club.
