Kyle Bowker wins WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Philly for his first WSOP Ring, $115,920

kylebowkerKyle Bowler won his first ever WSOP Circuit Ring taking down the World Series of Poker(WSOP) Circuit Harrah’s Philadelphia Main Event for $115,920. This is the biggest tournament win for the 31 year old New Yorker who has been playing live for the past eight years. Bowler defeated Justin Liberto for the coveted ring and top prize in a heads up battle which saw the latter get too many bad beats.

The Main Event was the 9th of the 12 Gold rings on offer at this edition of Harrah’s Philly. The $1675 buy-in ME featured 336 entrants including November niner Russell Thomas, WSOP Bracelet holders Jeff Madsen, Loni Harwood and Ken Aldridge. While the players failed to make the money, others who did finish ITM of the 36 finishers include Kenny Nguyen(25th),  Dennis Philips( 21st), Joseph McKeehan(17th), Kunal Patel(15th) and Matt Stout(13th). Kevin Stammen who recently won the WPT World Championship in Borgata, Atlantic City also finished in the money with a 32nd place finish. 

Kyle Bowler who emerged victorious at Harrah’s Philly has been playing the WSOP Circuit for a long time now and has had close finishes amassing $2.1 Million in tourney earnings. His biggest win has been a 37th place finish at the 2006 WSOP Main Event followed by a 2nd place at the 2009 WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Atlantic City ME. He finally gets to wear the ring now with this win and also gets a seat to WSOP National Championship at Bally’s Atlantic City.
