While there was an array of gold bracelet winners over the weekend at the 2014 WSOP including George Danzer capturing his second this summer, there was something to rejoice for Team India. Aditya Agarwal is among the top 5 stacks in Event 44: $1500 NLHE and is looking set to make day 3 and a first ever final table for an Indian at the WSOP.

Event 37: $1500 Pot Limit Omaha

Brandon Pastor claimed his first ever WSOP bracelet by taking down Event 37 reigning over 967 entrants. While Pastor marked his biggest cash at the WSOP winning $264,000 for the top finish, it seemed like a cake walk through the final table for him. He seemed to be steam rolling through the final nine as he was single handedly responsible for 5 eliminations on the FT.

It was a competitive field of 419 players trying out the first ever Dealers Choice event at the WSOP where the game changed with every hand dealt. Playing in this event meant the final man standing had to be a master of 16 poker variations. Mizrachi with 32 career cashes at the WSOP was fittingly the right person to show his mastery of the poker game.

This was the first year for the new $1,500 Dealer’s Choice event. The tournament allowed the player on the button to choose from one of 16 different games, including some never before spread at the WSOP like Badeucey, Badacey, and Pot Limit Five Card Draw.
