2014 WSOP: Event 44-47- More Americans bring home the Bracelet

The American kitty seems to be inflating too much at the 2014 WSOP with 3 more American poker players striking Gold in the last few days. Jordan Morgan, Will Givens and Jesse McEuen added their name to America’s tally of 38 WSOP Bracelets this summers. While Morgan overcame a long marathon style heads up encounter to take down the $1500 NLHE event, McEuen claimed his first WSOP Bracelet in the Antes Only event.

The 1914 player field came down to a single man standing in Jordan Morgan who had a tough heads up battle with Evan McNiff forcing the event into an unscheduled fourth days play. Morgan was the final man standing on his 9th wedding anniversary to win the big top money of $478,902. After hours of play and several chip exchanges, it was a heads up deul to remember and one that was ironically decided by a coin flip where both players equally deserved to win.

Morgan who has 22 cashes at the WSOP bettered his previous best of seventh place finish at the WSOP. The top 198 finishers each earned a payday.  Some of the notable players who cashed include Jeff Madsen (153rd), Ylon Schwartz (117th), Jake Balsiger (103rd), Men Nguyen (101st), Barry Greenstein (58th), Randal Flowers (22nd), and Vinny Pahuja (12th).
