Breaking the lull of the poker tournaments in India, Rockets Poker Room, a prominent poker room of Bangalore announced a Mega Poker Event in August. Scheduled for the Independance Day long weekend, the poker event will host 2 tournaments- one with a 500K guarantee and the second with a 1000K guarantee.
Poker in India, especially tournament poker had suffered a dry spell after the Pride Poker Cup and the Golden Aces Poker League July events were cancelled/postponed. This Poker festivity by Rockets Poker Room will break that monotony and is already coming as a a welcome relief by Indian poker players.
According to information shared by Rockets, the event is scheduled for 14th-19th August in which two primary tourneys will take place. There will be a 5K buyin -+ Double Rebuy+ Double addon Event on 15th August which will carry a 500K guarantee. On 16th August, a 25K Freezeout NLHE Event with a massive 1000K guarantee will be held. Cash games will also be offered across the tournament for players.
