Following its stand of promoting poker in India, adda52-India’s largest online poker site continues its endeavour of spreading poker awareness amongst the best thinking minds of the country. After the huge success of poker awareness festivals in IIM-Lucknow and IIT-Indore in 2013, adda52 has now tied up with other Indian Ivy League Colleges to organise poker freerolls and emphasise the message of poker being a game of skill.

Adda52 opened its freeroll poker tournament campaign at IIT Kanpur from 26th-28th Sept in their Poker Fest Udghosh which is also the country’s largest sports festival. This inter College festival saw two freeroll tourneys conducted across two days with combined participation of 250 players. Organised as one of the gaming activities during the festival, it went down well amongst the student community as a test of their intelligence and patience. A prize pool of goodies worth INR 40,000 was won by the top 20 winners who took home Amazon gift vouchers and adda52 Bonus Vouchers. All participants also got adda52 vouchers worth Rs. 100 and Rs. 250 along with certificates and poker decks for participation. The winners also took away exclusive trophies commending them for their show of strength.

The next stop for adda52’s poker awareness campaign is IIT Delhi where the very popular College Fest of ‘Rendezvous‘ will see a poker event offering a prize pool of goodies worth INR 2Lakhs for grabs. Rendezvous takes place on 17th and 18th October and will feature an All Night Poker Championship in association with adda52 and is expected to cross 200 players in participation. This exclusive poker tournament is a part of the Rendezvous fest plan itself and is already on the sought out list of students.

The poker journey then continues in BITS Pilani(Birla Goa Campus) on 1st and 2nd November where a similar poker freeroll will be organised. Keep following this space for this Poker Caravan that spans the colleges of India promoting poker amongst some of the most bright minds of the country.
