The four-time Ballon d’Or winner recently compared his talents with that of a poker player saying, “There are people who suggest that my way of playing football is innate. I do not know if this is the case, but it is true that I have a gambler’s instinct. When I feel the grass under my feet, I feel safe. I use the huge pressure to be better because pressure helps me to develop my skills.” The Argentine plays with the guts of a high-stake poker player with ball at his feet in the football ground.
Pamela Anderson Says Ex-Husband Rick Salomon Won $40 Million
In the divorce case fillings, Pamela has alleged that Salomon won $40 million playing poker last year, most of which came from the billionaire poker player Andy Beal. According to Pamela, Beal and Salomon played heads-up at Bellagio in Las Vegas in which Beal lost $16 million. Salomon has won huge at cash games and now Pamela is looking to claim half of that.
You might remember, the actress had filed for divorce with Salomon just after he cashed for $2.8 million in last year’s $1 million buy-in event “Big One For One Drop” at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Justin Bieber vs Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu was at the American Poker Awards recently where he won the prestigious award of – Poker Ambassador of the Year. While the poker world applauded for his achievements, there was someone round the corner who notices his dressing sense and even compared to that of Justin Bieber. Liaison Gary Gates tweeted an image comparing their dress sense and it looked like a heads-up between their socks.
