The online poker space saw a sparse Indian action in MTTs this weekend as most of the Indian grinders were playing in the Indian Poker Championship (IPC) events. However, a few players who didn’t go for the live action grinded the MTTs but couldn’t register any win. Sanjay Taneja, Shashank Jain, Karan Radia and Shekhar Singh cashed in a few PokerStars tourney making a sizeable Weekend Indian Poker Pot.
Karan made a 14th place finish in The Big $22, $50K Gtd pocketing $311 on Friday. Sanjay Taneja cashed in over 3 events bagging around thousand dollars. In The Hot $109 [Turbo], $10K Gtd, he finished 31st for $178. On Sunday, he made a cash-finish in the $162 Nightly Forty Grand, $40K Gtd for $573. In the $11 Sunday Storm, $300K Gtd, he was unfortunate to fall in 150th place pocketing $186.
Shashank Jain aka felter1989 reached the final table of the $215 NL Hold’em [Turbo], $25K Gtd but his good run came to end in 7th place. However, he bagged $1,488 for the 7th place finish.
Shekhar Singh aka ShakySh@rk who was on a roll throughout March in PokerStars $109 buy-in tourneys kept grinding the same tourney. This weekend he couldn’t bag a notable figure but cashed $285 for the 15th place finish in the The Hot $109 [Turbo], $10K Gtd.
