Weekend Indian Poker Pot: Sahil “AntiloG” Agarwal headlines the weekend online action

Although a sizeable fleet of runners were playing the tournament in Bangalore, many joined the online action to up their online earnings. This weekend, Indian online MTT grinders couldn’t ship any tourney but managed to bag a few runner-up finishes with notable cash prizes.

Friday, May 01 didn’t bring any major wins or cashes for Indian online poker players. The Saturday bash began with Sharad Rao aka Keenyle making a 3rd place finish in the low buy-in tourney, $2.20+R NL Hold’em [500 Cap], $2K Gtd adding $330 to his online winnings. He bagged another $454 in the $13.50 NL Hold’em [Knockout], $12K Gtd for his 6th place finish.

Sahil “AntiloG” Agarwal made an 11th place finish in the $320 Saturday Super-Knockout, $250K Gtd bagging $1,524.60 on Saturday. After a long time, we got to see some Indian action in PLO tourney when Karan Radia made a valiant 3rd place finish in the $55 Saturday PL Omaha [6-Max], $12.5K Gtd for $1,610.

Vinay B aka vinstill brought the first Indian notable cash in the online tourneys on Sunday when he finished 4th in the $16.50 NL Hold’em [Turbo], $5K Gtd for $474. Joining him in the Indian money list was Abhishek Kumar aka alwaysdegen who bagged $1,293.52 finishing in the runner-up place of the $27 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Turbo, Progressive Super-Knockout], $12.5K Gtd.

Sahil “AntiloG” Agarwal was on a title run on Sunday in the $27 NL Hold’em [6-Max, Turbo, Progressive Super-Knockout], $12.5K Gtd but, unfortunately fell in the heads-up battle for 2nd place. Sahil added another $1,155.46 to his online earnings with this money finish. Ankit ‘aob1986′ Bajaj bagged the last notable cash of this long Indian weekend in the $27 NL Hold’em [Hyper-Turbo], $18K Gtd. He won $949 finishing 6th in this tourney.
