Indian Poker Association (IPA) re-opening Tomorrow

The poker industry has recently drawn many old players as well as professionals from other business domains to establish poker rooms serving to the growing appetite of the market. This weekend, poker players get a new home in Bangalore with the Indian Poker Association (IPA) re-opening tomorrow, May 09 2015. Indian Poker Association which started as a venture to promote poker as a game of skill went on to become the first poker club of Bangalore providing the poker enthusiasts a well-managed facility to play.

The poker club run by Mr. K N Suresh has now got two young entrepreneurs as in Toto Goyal and Shine Samuel onboard who come with an experience in the IT and Services industry. The trio promises to provide the best in class poker experience to the players and visitors with the staff and services equipped with modern technologies and digital services. IPA in its 2nd phase of operation has collaborated with The Riverboats, a company which holds expertise in Consulting, Sports, Leisure and Luxury. The Riverboats will ensure a professional environment in the poker room and will handle the back-end operations for smooth functioning of all counters and services.

“We started IPA with an aim to make poker succeed in India and the re-opening of IPA with The Riverboats marks the first step we take towards that endeavor”, said Mr. Suresh on the eve of launch. “I welcome you to join Shine, Toto and me in our journey starting 9th May”, he said inviting all the players and industry.

The poker club located in the premises of the Young Men’s Indian Association (YMIA), Assaye Road, Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore will be opening its gates tomorrow for the poker lovers with an invitational Brunch and Drinks session followed by a Freeroll tournament. The tournament will reward top 3 players as Rs 10K chips for the 1st, Rs 5K chips for the 2nd and Rs 2.5K chips for the 3rd.

After the launch tomorrow, 4 regular tables of Texas Holdem and one table of 6-handed Omaha will be running daily at the IPA. Furthermore, IPA will host weekly tournaments and corporate games too. With the USP of “Professional, Legal and Responsible” and Indian Poker Association holds the potential to become the driver force of this market in Bangalore also to be rated as one of the best poker clubs in Bangalore.
