Weekend draws some of the best action in online poker in India with a variety of tournaments being played across 3 days (Fri-Sun). Indian MTT grinders encash their poker skills, hours of patience and the night-long sleep which they dissipate in the online tourneys. This weekend the poker fever went high with the Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) starting on PokerStars. A huge number of Indian grinders including the notable pros from the country jumped into this battle of online poker but, a notable win/cash is still awaited. However, our poker masters cashed fairly good amounts in other weekend tourneys led by armaan007 who amassed around $4,000 in online action.
Abhishek Rathod aka abhi147 brought the first score of the weekend finishing 5th in The Big $11, $65K Gtd for $3,056. armaan007 joined the Friday bash by cashing in 2 tourneys out of which he finished in the runner-up place of $109 NL Hold’em [Turbo, Re-Entry], $16K Gtd winning $3,116 and bagged $766 in the $51 NL Hold’em [Hyper-Turbo], $12K Gtd for the 5th place finish.
On Staurday, Aravindhan aka tiltalert86 earned $1,428 for the 3rd place finish in the $5.50+R NL Hold’em [2x-Turbo], $12K Gtd. Jdsaz added $1,035 to his online poker earnings making a 3rd place finish in the $13.50 NL Hold’em [Knockout], $12K Gtd. adi1711 finished in the runner-up place of The Big $3.30, $5K Gtd bagging $983.65.
Sanat Kaikini became the Sunday star of Indian online poker brining the biggest individual cash this weekend. He won $3,600 in the The Bigger $27.50, $40K Gtd finishing 3rd. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6 plus tourney reached its final event on Adda52 which Roggerr triumphed winning an iPhone 6+. Danish Sheikh made a valiant 27th place finish in the $530 Sunday500 bagging $1901. shakysh@rk was running deep in the $11 Sunday Storm, $300K Gtd but an unfortunate hand ended his good run in the 10th place for $1,002.91.
