Ex-PokerStars Pro Bertrand‘Elky’Grospellier Joins As The New partypoker Ambassador

Taking advantage of the recent exodus of prominent pros from the once reigning PokerStars, partypoker has picked one of the finest Pros from its ravishing rival. Partypoker has significantly shifted the poker landscape and made it evident by signing up the ex- PokerStars Pro Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier as the face of European reunification.

The “Poker First” Attitude

Partypoker has shifted its game with “Elky”, who will be assisting them with the launch and promotion of Partypoker.eu, which is planned to majorly benefit from Europe’s new shared liquidity between Spain, Italy, France, and Portugal.

Elky joins a team of the notable Partypoker ambassadors such as Sam Trickett, Patrick Leonard, Jason Koon, Fedor Holz and another ex PokerStars pro-Ike Haxton.

Excited about his association with partypoker, Grospellier said, “I am extremely enthusiastic about joining Partypoker to actively support their efforts to bring back the ‘Poker First’ mentality, live and online,”

For the first time, Elky has sported a Partypoker patch at the Millions Grand Final in Barcelona. It is there where some eminent players like Jake Schindler, Ludovic Geilich, Sam Greenwood have made it big.

European Shared Liquidity

Last July, regulators from four European neighbors decided to merge players pools. Spain and France have already linked up with Italy and Portugal joining in shortly.

French regulator Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) has issued a license to Partypoker and this sets the grounds for the site to merge its pre-existing Spanish operations with the French Market. Elky is expected to prominently pose efforts for the same.

“ElkY has a fantastic profile and has a good experience both in France and across the world and this makes him a perfect ambassador for us ahead of the shared liquidity launch. He will be instrumental in helping us to achieve our goals.”, said Partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters.
