Brandon Adams Wins $25K NLH At 2018 Poker Masters For $400K

After a remarkable fourth place finish in the opening event of the 2018 Poker Masters, Brandon Adams has grabbed headlines once again. The player has won $25K NLH, the second tournament of the series.  He managed to beat a strong field of 50 runners taking home $400,000 in the top prize.

There were many notables in contention for the title but Adams showed aggression and chipped up nicely. He entered the final day action fourth in chips among the six finalists. His first major clash on the final table was against six-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu whose pocket tens lost to Adam’s pocket queens. Negreanu exited in sixth place taking home $75,000 for his efforts.

The next elimination came in Jason Koon who was hit the rail in 5th place. He was eliminated by Jared Jaffee who held 10d 7h against Koon’s 8h 2c. Following him were Bill Klein and Jake Schindler in 4th and 3rd places. Schindler was eliminated by Adams who held Ad 5c against Schindler’s Qc 10s.

The heads-up began between Brandon Adams and Jared Jaffee who was short. In the very second hand, Jaffee moved all in and was called by Adams with Ac 9h against Jaffee’s Kc 5s. The board ran out 4c 4s 8d 7s and 2d where Jaffee failed to improve his hand and Adams won the pot and title.

Only the top eight players made money in this tournament. Dominik Nitsche went out in 7th place for $62,500 and Cary Katz hit the rail in 8th place for $50,000. Here are the final table payouts:
