One of f Adda52’s signature tournaments is the Adda52 Millions, an INR 20 Lac GTD tournament with upto 50% TDS Refund for all ITM players. This 6-Max tournament taking place on Sundays features a steep buy-in of INR 11,000 and is an extremely popular one, attracting the top pros from around the country and this Sunday was no exception as it saw a lot of pros, regulars and the past winners.
The tournament kicked off at 8 pm and attracted a strong field with 166 entries. Outlasting the field this Sunday was once again the young gun Sajal Gupta aka ‘sa_jal’ who completed his two wins of this tournament. Even top pros in the country find it difficult to beat the tough fields in this event, so this has turned out to be a big achievement for Sajal, who has won the event not once, but twice. The player, who currently lives in Bangalore, notched up his first Adda52 Millions in May this year.
Studied at IIT Delhi, Sajal is one of the upcoming online players in India, who started his poker journey just three years ago during his college. Since then, the player has come a long way, notching up several big scores across online tourneys happening on various sites in India. Some of his recent highlights on adda52.com include his victory in The Roar & The Whale, plus several ITM finishes.
In this particular tournament, Sajal faced a tough final table that included the likes of Akshay Nasa ‘vibaks’, Devang Yadav aka ‘spark123’, Shashank Jain aka ‘felter’ and Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’- all of them are tough players and have won several tournaments on adda52.com.
The heads-up took place between Sajal and the well-known pro Akshay Nasa. Both players battled it hard chipping up and down until the final hand where the former finally won it for INR 6 Lac.
We caught up with Sajal Gupta after his second Adda52 Millions win last night and he seemed quite happy about it. “Winning adda52 millions is always a special feeling.
