Laszlo Bujtas Leads Final 6 Into Final Day of WSOPE 2018 Main Event

The action at the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) €10,350 NLH Main Event has been roaring for several days now. The event has been a grand success drawing 534 entries to create a whopping prizepool of €5,073,000, which is to be shared by the top 81 with a min-cash of €15,074.

The Main Event has reached its final stage as only six players remain to battle it out for the top prize of €1,122,239 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet. While each of the final six is already assured €175,965, they will now be aiming for the first place prize and the bracelet. Leading the final six in chips is Laszlo Bujtas, the youngest player at the FT holding a huge stack of 14,040,000 in chips.

Bujtas had entered Day 5 as the biggest stack and ended it as the biggest stack as well. While he had a swingy ride and had become one of the shortest stacks, he came back strongly, eliminating Bulcsu Lukacs (8th for €98,287) and Koray Aldemir (7th for €130,350) to finally regain the chip lead.

Talking about his run, Bujtas said, “”I played good overall.I just got really, really lucky in the end.”

Clearly, Bujtas is the hot favourite to win the Main Event, but it would not be an easy road for him. The Hungarian pro who had finished 58th in the same event last year for €16,710 will have to face a stiff competition from Milo Skrbic (12,720,000) who had entered the FT as chip leader and the former WSOP Main Event champ Ryan Riess (10,615,000), who is also very much in race for the title.

Final Day Chip Counts:

1.Laszlo Bujtas – 14,040,000

2. Milos Skrbic – 12,720,000

3. Ryan Riess – 10,615,000

4. Jack Sinclair – 8,585,000

5. Krasimir Yankov – 3,995,000
