This past Sunday was a big day on Adda52 as the poker site hosted its flagship tournament – 30 Lac GTD Mega Suits. The event featuring a buy-in of INR 5,500 drew a strong field of 551entries. After several hours of tough battles, it was Harshit Chopra aka ‘hashstack’ who emerged as the winner to take home INR 6,05,062 in top prize. For Chopra, it was by far the biggest score this year on Adda52.
The 2nd to finish in this mega event was Sumit Sapra aka ‘Hammer_Head’, who took home a cool INR 5,34,938 for his efforts. It was not an easy win for Chopra as he had to face a tough final table that not only featured Sapra but also Dhaval Mudgal aka ‘dirtyzoso’ (6th for INR 1,05,000) along with some good regs in Hitesh Batra aka ‘buntai’ (4th for INR 2,25,000), past Mega Suits winner Gokul Raj aka ‘gokoolered’ (5th for INR 1,50,000), Irshad Chaudhary aka ‘poker27’ (7th for INR 75k) and Varun Gupta aka ‘varunsinghal01’ (8th for INR 60k). 2018 WPT India Main Event runner-up Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ bubbled the final table finishing 10th for INR 37,500.
A total of 55 players paid in this high-value tournament with a min-cash of INR 13,500. Some other notables who made money were Nishant Sharma aka ‘DoJingBULLETS’ (21st for INR 22,500), Shravan Chhabria aka ‘sweatmyass13’ (32nd for INR 19500), Abhineet Jain aka ‘pokemon13’ (34th for INR 19,500), Bhaijiii (44th for INR 13,500), Amit Sur aka ‘amitshur2984’ (45th for INR 13,500), Rajat Sharma aka ‘Oshoswami’ (47th for INR 13,500), ‘A_Sushant’ (50th) and ‘pomfret1989’(52nd).
A Little About Harshit Chopra’s Journey 2018
It has been a stellar year for Chopra as he has bagged several big scores. In June, he won Sunday Masters and followed up that with a 2nd runner-up finish in Godfather in July. The month of August saw him finishing 6th in Whale and 2nd in Adda52 Millions. In September, he scored a 3rd place finish in PayCheck, which was later followed by a 4th place finish in Adda52 Millions and a 3rd place finish in OneTime. Most recently, he finished runner-up in Godfather 6.0 and 4th in Adda52 Millions. So, it has been a rewarding journey for Chopra and we wish him all the best ahead!
