WSOP 2019: Lamphere Bags Largest Stack; Bansal Leads 4 Indians Into Day 2 of $600 Mixed NLH/PLO Deepstack

The opening day for Event #42: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack of the WSOP 2019 was an action-packed as it attracted a total of 2,403 entries and created a massive $1,261,575 in prizepool, which is set to be shared by the top 361st finishers in the brand new event.

Following 20 levels of play, Day 1 of the event ended with the field whittling down to just 195 players. Adam Lamphere emerged as the chip leader with a massive stack of 1,870,000. He secured the largest pot towards the close of the day. The player flopped a straight, while two of his opponents each flopped a set.
