WSOP 2019: Adda52 Celebrity Pro Minissha Lamba Among 5 Indians Entering Day 3 Of Monster Stack

Day 2 of Event #50: Monster Stack – $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em at the 2019 WSOP was a big day for Team India as 15 of our Indian challengers returned for the day among 2,092 players. By the end of Day 2, the field came down to 457 players and among them were only five Indians, namely Siddharth Mundada,Nishant Sharma, Vivek Rughani, Adda52 celebrity pro Minissha Lamba and Romit Advani.

WSOP first-timer Mundada headlined the 5 Indians into Day 3 with a massive stack of 1,395,000. The player had a good start to the series and has already collected three scores. He will be starting Day 3 with the 31st largest stack overall. He is trailed by Nishant Sharma (1,039,000 chips), Vivek Rughani (455,000 chips), Adda52 Celebrity Pro Minissha Lamba (391,000 chips), and Romit Advani (292,000).

While most of the Indians had got busted before the money bubble had burst, WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant (624th for $2,705) and Adda52 Team Pro Kunal Patni (890th) were the only Indians who managed to cash on Day 2. USA’s Kainalu McCue-Unciano holds 2,187,000 chips and will be returning along with the other 556 as the chip leader at 11 AM (Pacific Time Zone) on June 24.

Among the 5 Indians entering Day 3, Mundada, Sharma, Rughani and Lamba have bagged strong stacks. The event had attracted a total of 6,035 entries with the top 906 receiving payouts. All of the remaining 457 players are guaranteed a minimum prize of $3,534 but they all will be eyeing  the first-place prize of $1,008,850 and the WSOP gold bracelet.
