While we saw several key online events taking place yesterday, the showstopper was the 25 Lac GTD Mega Suits, which drew a total of 545 entries (including 220 re-entries) to easily crush the guarantee and take the total prizepool to INR 27,25,021.
The winner to emerge in the tournament was Dhiren Rupani aka ‘3_16’, who reached heads-up with the ace player Sriharsha Doddapaneni and eventually managed to win his first Mega Suits for INR 6,54,000. Rupani has been playing on Adda52 for several years now and has plenty of cashes to his name, including the ones coming from Adda52 Millions, Mega Suits, Whale, Godfather, Maverick, Go Goa, Blaze, CrackJack, etc. Among his notable scores this year include his Go Vegas win and several FT finises in Adda52 Millions. Last night, he added one more score to his list of achievements.
Once again, the tournament proved to be a grand success, drawing an impressive 545 entries, which included several top pros, past winners and some good regs. Top 55 were paid with a min-cash of INR 12,263. A few among the notables to finish deep in the event were Akshay Nasa (7th for INR 68,125), Siddhanth Kapoor (9th for INR 40,875) and Sandeep Varma R S (11th for INR 34,063).
