Welcome To Day IA Of WPT India 2019 Main Event
Good afternoon and welcome back to Deltin Royale in Goa, which is buzzing with the excitement for the biggest event of WPT India 2019 – the 3.25 Crore GTD Main Event, which begins today in a while from now at 3:30 pm local time. Last year, it was Mumbai’s high-stakes cash game specialist Nikunj Jhunjhunwala who took down the main event title for a hefty INR 66.35 lac after besting a record field of 697 entries. The battle for the title begins again, stay tuned for the updates!
In the Main Event this time, there is a WPT Passport worth US $3,500 being added to the first place prize, which can be used for entry into any WPT global main tour events. The Main Event featuring 55k buy-in and starting stack of 30k will have 40-minute levels. The late registration will close at the start of level 10, approximately at 9:30pm. It has three starting flights and players are allowed one entry in each of the starting flights, with no same-flight re-entries. Good luck at the tables!
