The World Poker Tour (WPT) visited Australia last year in September and October for the inaugural WPT Australia. Motivated by the success of the very first series in the continent, the popular poker brand recently announced three new festivals to take place at The Star Gold Coast, Australia.

Season XVIII: WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast (April 30 – May 4, 2020)

WPT returns to Australia for the second time in Season XVIII to host the AUD $1,500 (~US$ 993) WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast series running from April 30 – May 4, 2020 in Queensland, Australia.

The previous WPT Australia stop that took place last year recorded an impressive 658 entries for the AU$ 2,500 (~US$ 1,655) Main Event that generated a massive prize pool of AU$ 1,480,500. In the end,  it was Hari Varma who emerged victorious in the event to bank a hefty AU $274,247 in top prize.

Season XIX: WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast (April 23 – May 3, 2021)
