The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series is currently underway on WSOP.com. Seven tournaments are already in the books. The latest tournament to conclude was Event #7: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Knockout Deepstack that attracted an impressive field of 989 players, which resulted in a whopping $731,660 prize pool. After nearly 12 hours of intense battles, it was Joon “jykpoker” Kim who shipped it for a $103,127 in top prize, $3,000 in bounties, and his first gold bracelet.

Kim entered the final table with the second largest stack and went on to eliminate the likes of PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff “mavsusc” Platt, “smallmytable”, Eric “circleball” Baldwin, and the eventual runner-up “bunsamillion,” to eventually his first gold bracelet and the top prize.

Kim began heads-up with a nearly 5:1 chip lead over “bunsamillion,” and it didn’t take long for him to clinch the title. On the final hand, Kim moved all-in with K-9, and “bunsamillion” who had Q-7 called with his last 2.80 Million. The board ran 2-K-5-2-A giving Kim top pair to win his first gold bracelet.
