2020 WSOP Online: Ravid Garbi Wins Event #58: $5K Six-Max NLHE Championship

Event #58: $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship of the 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series running on GGPoker and Natural8 is in the books. Israel’s Ravid Garbi worked his way through a star-studded FT to win it for his personal best $531,513 and his first bracelet.

The tournament generated a prize pool of $3.19 million via a field of 672 entries. The British pro Chris Moorman narrowly missed out on his second bracelet as he lost to Garbi in heads-up. This win is the third cash for Garbi at the ongoing WSOP series, who holds only $29,132 in live earnings.

The final table of the event included the likes of Shyngis Satubayev, Mikita Badziakouski, Andy Hun Wei Lee, and Alan Schein, all of whom had previously scored WSOP final tables over the past few weeks of play. The FT also included Ludovic Geilich. The eventual winner Garbi entered the final table with just five BBs but played some top-notch poker to eventually finish it off with a win.

Francisco ‘VaPaCooler’ Benitez bubbled the final table and following him was United States’ Alan Schein who exited in the 9th place. Hun Wei Lee and Mikita Badziakouski were the next two players to leave the final table. Eliminations continued and the field eventually whittled down to the final two players after Norway’s Preben Stokkan exiting in 3rd place. The heads-up between Moorman (3.67 million chips) and Garbi (13.12 million) lasted for only 30 minutes with chips going back and forth.

The final hand of the tournament saw Moorman with Qs 10c and Garbi with Kh 8c. The board ran out 2d Ah 5d 6c Ac, giving the pot and the title to Garbi who earned $531,513 and his first bracelet.
