AOPS Day 7: Consecutive Titles For Arya; Chawla Wins Monster Stack; Tulsyan Tops AOPS ME 1B Survivors!

The 9 crore GTD Adda52 Online Poker Series (AOPS) continued on 12th August and what an incredible day of poker action it was. Some of the elite MTT grinders took to the virtual felt to win BIG. A handful of them managed to achieve their goals, including Devvrat Arya (won the 20 Lac GTD AOPS Wheel for INR 5 Lac) and Pranay Chawla (won the 15 Lac GTD AOPS Monster Stack for INR 3.03 Lac). The well-known pro Vishal Tulsyan topped Day 1B of the 2.5 Crore GTD AOPS Main Event.

2.5 Crore GTD AOPS Main Event – Day 1B

The second starting flight of the 2.5 Crore GTD AOPS Main Event logged in a total of 160 entries and only 20 players could qualify for the event’s epic finale to be played out on Sunday, 16th August 2020.

Following 29 levels of play, it was former Godfather winner Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘amarkhatri999’ who emerged as the chip leader with a stack of 255,311 chips. Gaurav Sood (208,282), ‘bullgod89’ (179,960), Ayush Garg (159,789) and ‘phanthom’ (157,051) rounded out the top five stacks.

20 Lac GTD AOPS Wheel

The biggest tourney to crown a winner on Day 7 of the ongoing AOPS was the INR 2,750 buy-in AOPS Wheel featuring INR 20 Lac prize pool. Devvrat Arya aka ‘glitch_d’ shipped the tourney to pick up consecutive AOPS titles. Arya had also take down Tuesday’s AOPS Cowboys for INR 4.90 Lac. To claim his consecutive 2nd title last night, Arya outlasted 755 entries and walked away with INR 5 Lac for his win. He eventually railed out ‘mannu425’ in the heads-up who picked up INR 2.69 Lac for his efforts.

15 Lac GTD AOPS MonsterStack

The well-known online MTT grinder Pranay Chawla aka ‘setmeup’ took down the 15 Lac GTD AOPS Monster Stack. He topped a strong field of 226 runners to bank INR 3.03 Lac in top prizemoney. The tournament easily crushed its specified guarantee, creating INR 15.48 Lac prize pool that was shared by top 24 players. Finishing runner-up in this particular tourney was Ratul Steves aka ‘riverking021’ who earned INR 2.88 Lac, after a three-way deal with Chawla and ‘distroyer’ (3rd for INR 2.66 Lac).
