2020 WSOP Online: Finland’s Vousden Leads $25M GTD Main Event Day 1A Survivors

Monday saw the start of the most-awaited tournament of the 2020 WSOP Online – Event #77: $5,000 NLH Main Event, which happens to be the biggest online poker tournament in poker history with a mind-boggling guarantee of $25 Million. The first of 22 starting flights of the prestigious event logged in a total of 464 entries, and after 15 levels of 30 minutes, the field whittled down to 99 players progressing to Day 2. Leading the 99 survivors was Finland’s Samuel Vousden (717,497 chips).

Currently ranked 96th on Finland’s All Time Money list with $244k in lifetime earnings, Vousden has cashed seven tournaments at the series and will be eyeing a bigger score at this WSOP main event. .

Following Vousden in the second and third places are Christian ‘CharlieD23’ Jeppsson (602,774) and former bracelet champion Julien Martini (576,965). Drew ‘BigPavelski’ Soik (547,536) is third in chips.
