2020 WSOP Online: Bradley Ruben Wins Event #62: $1,500 PLO, India’s ‘pokermafiaa’ Final Tables!

Bradley Ruben has been enjoying a successful World Series of Poker Online so far this summer, with already 9 cashes, including a fourth-place finish in Event #27 $1,050 PLO Bounty for $40,000. On Sunday, he surpassed all his previous WSOP scores as Florida native outlasted 990 entries in Event #62: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha to earn his first bracelet and a $220,160, which is his largest score, topping the $55,958 he earned for a third-place in the $1,500 razz event at the 2017 WSOP.

The top 134 finishers were paid out from the total $1,410.750 prize pool in this event, with a min-cash being worth $3,476. Plenty of notable posted deep finishes, including Belarmino De Souza (20th – $6,982), high-stakes cash game star Patrik Antonius (19th – $6,982), WSOP bracelet winner and World Poker Tour champion Craig Varnell (18th – $6,982), and Christian Rudolph (14th – $8,405).

It was a big Sunday for Indians, with three players posting FT finishes, including “Mandovi” winning the country its 4th bracelet in Event #64: $840 Turbo Bounty NLHE ($234,433 (INR 1.75 Crores).

The Indian challenger “pokermafiaa” chasing the second bracelet for the country this year fell in fourth-place in this event. He banked a hefty $88,727 (INR 66.42 Lac) for his deep run in the tourney.

Heads-up saw Ruben starting with a 2:1 chip lead over Dorel Eldabac. It didn’t take long for him to wrap up things. On the final hand, Eldabach three bet after a raise from Ruben. Ruben called, and after the flop of Jh 8h 4c, he called the all-in from Eldabach who held Kh Kc 5s 2c against Ruben’s Ah 9s 6s 6h. Eldabach’s kings were ahead till the turn 7d but the river Qh gave Ruben flush to win it.
