Wednesday Majors: Sapra Ships Maverick After A HU With Dhingra; ‘gogikaran’ Denies Bang Moonlight Win

It was a winsome Wednesday on adda52.com with several major tournaments taking place on the platform. Headlining the action on the poker site was the 15 Lac GTD Maverick. The INR 2500 buy-in flagship tourney pulled in a total of 647 entries and coming out on top of the field was one of the top-notch MTT pros Sumit Sapra aka “Hammer_Head” who shipped it for INR 3.75 Lac in top prize.

While the poker phenom has taken down several flagships on adda52.com, including the Adda52 Millions, Godfather and Mega Suits, the MTT pro closed out the month of September in style by taking down the 15 Lac GTD Maverick last night for INR 3.75 Lac.

Sapra, who had won The Spartan Poker`s FMS Main Event in August, came out on top of a strong final table that included Akshay Dhingra (2nd for INR 2,17,500), Sam Anand (4th for INR 1,05,000), the young talent Shardul Parthasarathi (5th for INR 75,000), and Mohit Mehta (7th for INR 41,250).

4 Lac GTD Moonlight 

Another major tourney taking place on Adda52 yesterday was the 4 Lac GTD Moonlight with a buy-in of INR 1800. The tournament pulled in a total of 259 entries to comfortably crush its guarantee and generate INR 4.24 Lac in prizepool that was shared by the top 27 players with a min-cash of INR 3823.

After more than five hours of play, it was “gogikaran” who shipped it to bank INR 95,311, following a heads-up deal with one of the top online MTT grinders Srihari Bang aka “zombieballs” who earned INR 80,965 for his runner-up finish. Other notables ending their run at the final table included Sandeep “effuno” Varma (3rd for INR 49,485), and Siddharth ‘skaria1’ Karia ( 5th for INR 24,224).
