Sundays always witness electrifying action on the virtual felts and yesterday was no different, with all major poker sites hosting massive guaranteed tournaments. Leading the charge on Delta Corp’s market leading poker site Adda52.com was the 30 Lac GTD Mega Suits. Sporting a buy-in of INR 5500, the headline Sunday tourney pulled in 543 entries by the time late registration closed. After a little over 9 hours of play, the Delhi-based MTT pro Raghav Bansal aka “BaLuGaWhAlE” came out on top to win INR 7.20 Lac and his second title in just four days after taking down the Godfather.
The well-known MTT reg, Bansal has been on a breakout run recently. He had a fantastic November with two WPT titles, which came for his win in the 30 Lac GTD WPT Big Game and the 30 Lac GTD WPT Thursday Feature at the WPT Online India. He had also finished runner-up in the WPT India Mini High Roller at the series. Last night, he picked up yet another title after winning the Mega Suits.
Online reg Navin Bohani aka “kutkut69A” finished runner-up to bank INR 4,20,000 for his deep run.
The final table of the Mega Suits was replete with some big names and included the likes of the in-form MTT pro Ranjeet “rj147” Negi (3rd for INR 2,85,000), Gaurav “zillastar” Bhandari (4th for INR 2,25,000), Shashank “felter” Jain (5th for INR 1,50,000), Meherzad “sailaway” Munsaf (6th for INR 1,05,000), & last night’s Adda52 Millions runner-up Vaibhav “alienrobot” Sharma (7th for INR 75,000).
25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions
Rishab Malik aka “rish1994” outlasted a field of 241 entries in the 25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions to win his second tourney title in just three days. The final showdown in the 11K buy-in tourney took place between Malik and MTT reg Vaibhav Sharma aka “alienrobot” (runner-up for INR 4 Lac) with the former taking it down for INR 6.86 Lac, which happens to be his second best score to date.
The former Adda52 Team Pro Kunal “kunalpatni” Patni (4th for INR 2,15,000), and Arjunn Agrawal aka “HaanMeinFlipHoon” (6th for INR 1,06,250) were the other notables to end their run at the FT.
12.5 Lac GTD Big Slick
Young MTT talent, Kanchan Sharma aka “thandicoke”, had a profitable Sunday as she came out on top of a strong 524-entry field to win the Adda52’s 12.5 Lac GTD Big Slick title for INR 2,34,801.
Arjanveer Sing Chadha aka “arjan30”, who has won the two Ballers titles this month, came within touching distance of his third title on Adda52 but eventually finished runner-up for INR 1,72,108.
4.5 Lac GTD Hurricane
The Pune-based MTT pro Shashank Desai aka “IndianRat” emerged the winner out of 127 players in the 4.5 Lac GTD Hurricane tourney and walked away with a cool INR 1.17 Lac in top prizemoney.
Adda52 regular, Vinayak Bajaj aka “bhai_on_mary_jane” (finished runner-up for INR 69,750) & Lavesh Meena aka “lavesh7”(3rd place for INR 52,425) rounded out the top three finishes in the Hurricane.
