Thursday Majors: Arora Wins His Second Godfather Title Of The Year; Bora Takes Down Monster Turbo 5L

It was a thundering Thursday on Adda52.com, with several major tournaments taking place on the site. Headlining the action was the 25 Lac GTD Godfather that has always been a crowd-puller and yesterday was no different. The INR 5,500 buy-in tourney logged in 556 entries to collect a prizepool of INR 27.80 Lac. After over ten hours of play, Adda52’s AOPS Freeze Finale champion Sanket Arora “blackcod” came out on top to win his second Godfather title of the year and INR 6.53 Lac. Arora’s previous Godfather win had come in July this year when he shipped the tourney for INR 7.19 Lac.

Shravan “sweatmyass13” Chhabria (3rd for INR 2,52,980), Anujkumar aka “thekinganuj” Kodam (4th for INR 1,94,600), Ayan “gutshotguru1” Ray (5th for INR 1,39,000), & Pradip Ghosh “Nit2Donk” (6th for INR 97,300) were the other notable FT finishers.

The other major tourney on Adda52 yesterday, the 5 Lac GTD Monster Turbo sporting a buy-in of 2500, signed up 285 hopefuls to collect a guarantee-surpassing INR 6.41 Lac prizepool. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prizepool was Abhigyanjit Bora aka “IamINEVITABLE” who shipped it for INR 1.72 Lac. Anujkumar Kodam aka “thekinganuj” came close to almost winning the tourney but had to settle for a runner-up finish worth INR 99,394. He scored an impressive two FT finishes last night on adda52.com, including a 4th place finish for INR 1,94,600 in the last night’s Godfather.
