Monday Majors: Back-To-Back Iron Man Titles For Saahib Bawa; Vikrant Kohli Wins Voyager

On the heels of a power-packed Sunday, the online action slowed down a little on India’s largest poker site, Adda52.com. The star attraction of the site’s Monday roster was the 8 Lac GTD  Iron Man with a buy-in of INR 2000. The flagship Monday tourney did reasonably well, logging in an impressive 463 entries to comfortably surpass its listed guarantee and create a prize pool worth INR 8.43 Lac.

  • Total Entries – 463
  • Prizepool – 8.43 Lac
  • Places Paid – 49
  • Min Cash – 4,635

After over 6 hours of intense play, the 2020 WPT Super Stack winner Saahib “saahib” Bawa made his way to the top to win the tourney for the second time in a row. Bawa had won the same tourney just last Monday for INR 2 Lac and went on to repeat the feat by winning it last night for INR 2.06 Lac. He outlasted Parv “kidppoker” Jain (runner-up for INR 1,22,186) to claim the victory in last night’s Iron Man.

Jayjit “pokerminator” Ray (3rd for INR 84,266), Sandeep “2EZ4Me” Chauhan (5th for INR 42,133), Aniket “WhiteRabbit” Sharma (6th for INR 29,493) were the other known regs finishing on the final table.

2.75 Lac GTD Voyager

The second major tourney to play down to a winner on Adda52 last night was the 2.75 Lac GTD Voyager. The 1100 buy-in tourney enjoyed a successful run, attracting a total of 302 entries to crush its guarantee and create a prize pool of INR 3.02 Lac that was eventually shared by the top 30 places.

  • Total Entries – 302
  • Prizepool – 3.02 Lac
  • Places Paid – 30
  • Min Cash – 2,416

After several hours of intense play, the tourney found a winner in Vikrant “vk21” Kohli who banked INR 63,367 after a heads-up deal with Rohit “rohitcool756333” Deoghare (runner-up for INR 60,000).

Sanjay “smr1g10” Mohan (3rd for INR 34,730), Tanmay “tsb2127” Sanjay Bhalerao (4th  for INR 25,670), Abhishek “abhisekchem86” Mandal (5th for INR 17,365), and Sagar “sagar28389” Gulati (6th for INR 12,080) were the other notable regs who ended their run on the final table of the tourney.
