Ashish Ahuja Talks About Ongoing ATOC Series, Its 2 Crore GTD Main Event, And His Win In ATOC Gladiator

Meet Chandigarh-based pro – Ashish Ahuja who has been in and around the domestic circuit for several years now. The lawyer-turned poker pro whose primary focus was on cash games for the initial few years is one of the biggest MTT crushers today and his game is getting only better with every passing day. While his live poker resume is remarkable with already two major titles and several FT finishes, it is the virtual felts where he has been killing it. He has as many as 125 online tourney titles to his name and his most recent title came this past Thursday when he won Adda52’s 30 Lac GTD ATOC Gladiator for INR 6.67 Lac and added an ATOC trophy to his list of achievements.

Thursday was a memorable day for Ahuja as he crossed 7 Crore-mark in online winnings. Bringing him to this amazing milestone was his win in the 30 Lac GTD ATOC Gladiator for INR 6.67 Lac and a runner-up finish worth INR 2.31 Lac in Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday. The ATOC Gladiator was the biggest trophy tourney on the opening day of the Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) series and Ahuja seemed quite happy after winning the trophy event on the first day of the series.

The Gladiator win on the first day of the ATOC series gave Ahuja a perfect start to the series and he said, “I couldn’t have asked for a better start, winning the trophy event on the first day of the series. I’m feeling really confident about my game and really excited for the remaining trophy events.”

Talking about his experience in the Gladiator tournament, he said,  “I loved playing ATOC Gladiator as it had an amazing structure. It had a really deep structure and enough room for gameplay”.

Sharing his thoughts on ATOC, he said, “ATOC is an amazing series as it has tournament buy-ins ranging from 550 upto 27,500. It has something for everyone from micro stake grinders to high rollers. Not just that, it has 18 Trophy events along with Panerai Black Seal watch for the Main Event winner.”

The big news for MTT lovers is that the showstopper tourney of the ATOC Series,  2 Crore GTD ATOC Main Event, is underway and will be running till 7th March.
