ATOC Day 7: Singhal Wins Deepstack; ‘Dgme’ Denies Malik Wednesday Feature Title; Purohit Leads Main Event Day 1C Survivors

Day 7 of the 8 Crore GTD Adda52 Tournament of Champions (ATOC) was a big day for poker, with some of the biggest names coming out in an attempt to win big. A total of 9 winners were crowned and stealing the spotlight was Aman “singhal07” Singhal who took down the biggest trophy event of the day ‘20 Lac GTD ATOC Deepstack’ to win the single biggest score of the day worth INR 5.49  Lac (his career-best score) and an ATOC trophy. The mystery player “Dgme”  (won the 15 Lac GTD ATOC Wednesday Feature for INR 4.03 Lac) and Harsh Karanpuria  (ATOC Deepstack runner-up for INR 3.20 Lac) ended among the other big winners of the day. 2 Crore GTD ATOC Main Event Day 1C

The biggest attraction of the ATOC series is the 2 Crore GTD ATOC Main Event. The third flight of the 11k buy-in event saw 149 entries out of which only 11 players could progress to Day 2. Online MTT reg Naren “IMUNAGI” Purohit (364,950 chips) ended Day 1C flight as a chip leader, while Mithun “themiths” Mahesh (312,275), Nadeem “nadeem0021” Basha (259,205), Tarun “aggtarun” Goyal (254,564), & Peyush “r9cky” Jain (241,068 chips) rounded out the top five stacks of the day.

20 Lac GTD ATOC Deepstack

There were two trophy events concluding on Day 7 of the ATOC series. The more prominent of the two was the 20 Lac GTD ATOC Deepstack that kicked off at 9:30 PM last night and pulled in a total of 238 entries. After over 9 hours of intense play, online reg Aman “singhal07” Singhal came out on top of the field to win his career-best INR 5.49 Lac and the ATOC Trophy. Harsh “harsh20” Karanpuria finished runner-up and banked INR 3.20 Lac, which happens to be his best finish at the ATOC series.

15 Lac GTD ATOC Wednesday Feature

The other trophy event on Day 7 of the series, the 15 Lac GTD Wednesday Feature fared better and pulled in 633 entries to crush its listed guarantee and generate a prizepool worth INR 15.82 Lac. After over eight hours of play, the mystery player “Dgme” championed it for INR 4.03 Lac. The well-known MTT pro, Gagandeep “gaganhyd” Malik placed runner-up and banked INR 2.29 Lac.

The ATOC Deepstack fifth-place finisher Rishab “rish1994” Malik (4th palce for INR 1,14,731), Rohit “rohit22rm” Mishra  (5th for INR 79,125), Manish “newkidpoker” Lakhotia (7th for 43,519) & Sumit Sapra aka”Hammer_Head” (8th for INR 31,650) were the other prominent names on the final table.

6 Lac GTD ATOC Kronus

Vishal “vishalmaharaj” Maharaj outlasted a strong field of 272 to win the 6 Lac GTD ATOC Kronus for INR 1.56 Lac in top prizemoney. Utkarsh “sam20542” Srivastava (3rd place for INR 69,900) and Deepstack champion Aman “singhal07” Singhal (4th for INR 51,000) were the notable FT finishers.

Among other prominent winners of the day, Yash “Babyshark21” Chitre topped a 202-entry field to win the 1.50 Lac GTD ATOC Apollo for the second consecutive time last night, netting INR 41,700.
