Sunday Majors: Mahajan Denies Grover Mega Suits Finale Title; Ahuja Wins Adda52 Millions

Truly, it was a power-packed Sunday with all leading poker sites coming out all guns blazing to host big guaranteed tournaments! Headlining the action on was the 40 Lac GTD Mega Suits that fared pretty well, drawing in an impressive 887 entries across its two starting flights to generate a guarantee-smashing prize pool of INR 44.35 Lac that was eventually shared by the top 89 players.

The Mega Suits was a single-day event with a total of 104 players entering its epic Finale that kicked off at 10:15 PM last night. Online MTT reg, Rajat “happyfish” Mahajan, navigated his way to the top to win the Finale for INR 7,84,728. By far, this happens to be the second Mega Suits victory for Mahajan as he had won this tourney last year as well for INR 4,22,649. Some of his other notable scores on include winning Judwaa, Maverick, and Adda52 Millions to name a few.

The other marquee tourney on, the 25 Lac GTD Adda52 Millions featuring a buy-in of INR 11,000, enjoyed a highly successful run pulling in 312 entries to generate a prize pool of INR 31.20 Lac. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool was this year’s Mega Suits, ATOC Gladiator & Excalibur champion in Ashish “rocky3705” Ahuja who banked INR 7.80 Lac for his win. He eventually defeated “PokerPunter01” (runner-up for INR 4,72,680) heads-up to claim the title.

Adda52’s 10  Lac GTD Sunday Showdown found a winner in Ronak “rj128” Jain who came out on top of a guarantee-smashing field of 549 entries and banked INR 2.29 Lac for the win. The rising star Ritwik “ritwik27” Khanna placed runner-up and walked away with INR 1,68,011 for his efforts.
