Thursday Majors: Ashish Ahuja Wins Adda52’s Godfather For Second Time; Arun Sriram Ships Monster Turbo 5L

It was a thundering Thursday on Adda52.com with several exciting events running on the platform. The headline tourney of the day was the 25 Lac GTD Godfather that did reasonably well, pulling in a packed field of 553 entries to crush its listed guarantee and create a prize pool worth INR 27.65 Lac.

After a little over 9 hours of grueling play, the two-time Big Slick champion Ashish “rocky3705” Ahuja shipped it for INR 6.63 Lac in the top prize, with mystery player “bubba88” placing runner-up for INR 3,87,100. This is Ahuja’s second time winning Godfather and overall 15th  tourney title of the year.

The other marquee event to play down to a winner on Adda52 yesterday was the Monster Turbo 5L. The INR 2500 entry buy-in tourney enjoyed an eventful run, logging in 339 entries and generating a guarantee-crushing prize pool of INR 7.63 Lac that was eventually divided among the top 34 players.

Walking away with the title and top prize of INR 2.02 Lac was online MTT reg Arun “runyrules” Sriram who came out on top of the field to win the tourney for the first time.
