Monday Majors: Khandelwal Wins Adda52’s Iron Man; Sandhu, ‘faizal1506’ & Kumar Win Big On NPS Day 1

The much-awaited Nano Poker Series (NPS) hit the ground running yesterday and this time the series sports a bigger prize pool of INR 1.1 Crore along with an additional 5 Lac in the leaderboard prizes. The opening day of the series on had seven events running, with the 2 Lac GTD Nano DST being the biggest draw. The INR 880 buy-in tourney drew 285 entries to crush its listed guarantee and generate a prize pool of INR 2.28 Lac. Online reg, Ranveer “seven2222” Singh Sandhu, emerged as the winner to bank INR 48,556, with ‘baagdi’ placing runner-up for 44,582.

The other major tourney on Day 1 of the NPS, the 1.80 Lac GTD Nano Inception, registered a field of 726 entries, collecting a guarantee-crushing INR 2,30,888 prize pool. Walking away with the lion’s share of the prize pool was the mystery reg ‘faizal1506’ who eventually outlasted ‘Paulpogba’ (runner-up for INR 33,975) in the heads-up battle to bank the top prize worth INR 35,151.

The anonymous “nickel0992” (Won 1.20 Lac GTD Nano Monday Adda for INR 31,901), Neeraj “kumartomar” Kumar (Won 1.35 Lac GTD Nano Siesta for INR 26,387), “Thebang02” (Won 75K GTD Nano Crack Jack for INR 16,122), “amar21679” ( Won Nano PLO 35K for 9,021) & “mayankuniyal213” (Won 25K GTD Nano Battleship for INR 11,232) featured among the other winners on NPS Day 1.

8 Lac GTD Iron Man

Among the non-NPS events on, the 8 Lac GTD Iron Man was the headline tourney. The INR 2000 entry buy-in tourney fared well, drawing in 488 entries to create a guarantee-crushing prize pool worth INR 8.88 Lac. The top 49 players were paid out, with Archit “rocketarchie” Khandelwal walking away with the title and the top prize worth INR 2,17,599. Finishing behind him was the mystery reg in “SONISONI1997” who walked away with INR 1.29 Lac for his runner-up finish.

3 Lac GTD Voyager

 Kunal “Charsilaladka” Chaudhary came out on top of a 393-entry field to win the 3 Lac GTD Voyager tourney last night. He banked INR 72,923, following a heads-up deal with ‘thablack’ (2nd for INR 71,928). Gautam “aa_kk” Sachdeva exited the tourney in 3rd place for INR 52,828.
