Event #71: $1,111 One More for One Drop of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2022 saw only 319 out of the 1,271 players make it to Day 3. From India, only three players could make it to Day 3, with Shashank Jain (1,630,000) leading them in chips. Day 1C chip leader Neel Joshi (1,005,000) held the 70th largest stack, with Tarun Goyal (285,000) rounding out the trio of Indians. Unfortunately, none of the Indians could survive the day’s onslaught and carry forward the Indian tri-color to Day 4.
Day 3 of the One More for One Drop event began on Monday 12 PM (12:30 AM IST, Tuesday) with 319 players with the minimum payouts worth $3,097. From Team India, Shashank Jain began the day as the biggest stack but bowed out before Joshi in the 102nd position and took home $4,938 – his first cash at the ongoing series. Neel Joshi enjoyed a better run and finished deeper, exiting in 98th place for $5,664. Joshi, who had previously finished 12th for $30,435 in Event #65: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em, has been doing well at the WSOP 2022 and this was his 5th cash at the series.
Tarun Goyal come into Day 3 of One More for One Drop as the shortest stack among the Indians and exited early in the day in 209th place for $3,847, posting his fourth cash at the ongoing series.
A total of six players from Team India cashed in this event with Apratim Sharma (369th for $2,815), Kunal Patni (498th for $2,384),Gokul Krishna (781st for $1,778) being the other Indian players.
Event #71: $1,111 One More for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em is now close to reaching its conclusion. While 5,702 players started the tournament, Day 3 ended with only 41 players progressing to Day 4.
The chip leader among the survivors is WSOP bracelet winner Barry Hutter who started the day with 1,590,000 and ran up his stack to 14,075,000. Hutter, who won the $1,500 NLH Shootout at the WSOP 2015 will be looking to add a second bracelet to his collection. Other big stacks into Day 4 of the event include Event #61: Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship final tableist Christina Gollins (14,000,000), Boris Akopov (12,600,000), and Main Event champion Ryan Riess (10,425,000).

Action for Day 4 resumes on Tuesday, July 12th, at 12 p.m. local time. They will play down to five players with a 15-minute break every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 36 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Blinds will start at 100,000/150,000 with a 150,000 big blind ante.
While each of the remaining 41 players has already locked up at least $15,238, they all will be eyeing the massive $535,610 top prize and the coveted gold bracelet. Keep following OPN for the updates!
