Sunday Majors: Neel Joshi Wins Adda52’s Big Whale; Nitesh Katiyar & Amit Kaushik Top NPS Final Day Winners

Sunday as usual was buzzing with activity on the virtual felts. While all major poker rooms hosted their flagship events, the biggest event of the day on India’s largest poker site Adda52.com was the 30 Lac GTD Big Whale. Featuring a buy-in of INR 16,500, the site’s Sunday headliner drew in 234 entrants, comfortably crushing its specified guarantee and generating a prize pool of INR 35.10 Lac.

Following several hours of intense battle, online MTT crusher Neel “neeljoshi23” Joshi emerged victorious and walked away as the biggest winner of the day, winning INR 9.17 Lac. Finishing right behind him was the female poker pro Shuchi “pescatarian8” Chamaria who banked INR 6.08 Lac.

Other notables on the FT were Rahul “qwerty3293” Singroh (3rd for INR 4,21,200), Shardul “vamos96” Parthasarathi (4th for INR 3,01,860), and Mayank “AreyBetaRaise” Maruka (6th for INR 1,49,175).

25L Nano ME Finale

Sunday also marked the end of the 1 Crore GTD Nano Poker Series (NPS) on Adda52.com. The star attraction on the final day was the 25 Lac GTD Nano Main Event Finale. Sporting a buy-in of INR 1650, the main event of the series drew in 1588 entrants across its seven flights and saw 197 of them make it to the finale last night. While the top 161 were paid out in the finale, walking away with the top prize and title was online reg Nitesh “nitkat” Katiyar, who banked INR 3.58 Lac. Katiyar chopped the title with Avinash “avinkon” Koneru who took home INR 3.49 Lac in prize money.

Himanshu “pirateking7” Arora (3rd for INR 2,15,788), and Siddharth “kab00m” Gangwar (6th for INR 82,470) were the other notable regs who ended their run on the final table of the Nano Main Event.

15 Lac GTD Nano Highroller

Amit “ragingbull” Kaushik was the last player standing in Adda52’s 15 Lac GTD Nano Highroller and won INR 2.85 Lac. He eventually bested  Samyak “stonedurr” Sethi who banked INR 2.09 Lac in prize money. Debneil “noobneil” Mukherjee (5th for INR 82321), and Sahil “bluffme19” Chutani (6th for INR 60,341) were the other notable players who made it to the final table of the Nano Highroller.
