To the delight of live poker enthusiasts, Adda52, India’s leading online poker site, has announced the 15th edition of the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious offline poker events. The 15th edition of the event will take place from October 11th to 16th, 2023 at the magnificent Deltin Royale in Goa. While the complete schedule of the event is yet to be revealed, the upcoming poker festival, like its predecessor, will offer exhilarating events and massive winnings.
The previous edition, which took place from July 18th to 24th this year, saw an an intriguing mix of pro and new players, drawing in 464 unique competitors across 12 events and creating an incredible total prize pool of INR 6,71,77,900. While we saw several big winners, the series had a dream ending for Vasu Bansal. He championed the series’ blockbuster DPT Main Event after topping a star-studded field of 642 entrants who built INR 2,90,91,235 in the prize pool. He took home INR 40 Lac after a heads-up deal with Krishna Khaitan who pocketed the same amount as the runner-up.
Among the other highlights, Arsh Grover was the last player standing in the INR 1.10 Lakh High Roller after topping a tough field of 152 entrants. He took home INR 30.62 Lac, following a three-way deal with Roshan Bhardwaj (second for INR 32.95 Lac) and Nitin Rawat (third for INR 21.9 Lac).
The previous edition saw its Big Bounty PLO and Teams Event attract players in large numbers. There was an overwhelming response for the mini main event. Adding to the thrill was Flip & Ship wherein players were competing in a showdown and the player with the best hand qualifying to move ahead. Players can expect to make these tourneys make a return to the DPT October 2023.
While the full schedule has not yet been revealed, players can look forward to well-curated live events, including the Main Event and High Roller. Aside from the conventional live satellites that will run at the Deltin Royale casino during the series, Adda52 will host online satellites to the series.
Players who cannot afford the buy-ins of live events can compete in online satellites on Adda52.com.
