EPT Cyprus 2023 ME: India’s Apoorva Goel Advances To Day 3

Team India has been making waves at the international felts with Indian challengers performing impressively well across tournaments in Vietnam and other parts of the World. The latest standout performance comes from Apoorva Goel, who is currently making headlines with a remarkable showing at the ongoing EPT Cyprus 2023 main event. Goel’s journey through the tournament has been nothing short of extraordinary, as he has now advanced to Day 3, alongside 154 other players.

Leading the group of survivors is none other than Lebanon’s poker pro, Nicolas Chouity. Chouity, well-known for his victory in the Main Event at Monte Carlo in 2010, has maintained his poker prowess over the years and is setting the standard for excellence at the EPT Cyprus 2023. He has bagged a massive stack of 906,000 chips, which hands him 181 big blinds going into Day 3.

Goel is the sole Indian in contention for the main event title and is sitting with 1,72,000 chips. He is already assured a minimum payout of $9,275 but will be looking to fare well and ship the coveted title.
