The action is sizzling with a series of live poker festivals lined up for October in the Asian region including the Deltin Poker Tournament (11th to 16th October). Currently in the spotlight is the 2023 Poker Dream 7 Vietnam series, which kicked off on 29th September and will run till 8th October.
Team India’s campaign at the series is off to a flying start with India’s Deep Raina notching up an impressive three cashes in the opening weekend. Of the three impressive finishes, his biggest score came in Event #6: Mystery Hunter Turbo where he placed second for VND 39 Million. This was his third cash in five events at the series and took his total winnings to VND 73.80 Million in the series.
The turbo tournament was ultimately shipped by Malaysia’s Foo Tuck Wai who walked away with the VND 54.70 Million top prize. It had a VND 5 Million buy-in and drew in 72 players, resulting a prize pool of VND 307,296,000. Out of these players, only the top 11 finishers were paid out.
