PokerBaazi Crowns Champions of its 10 Crore GTD ‘Greatest of All Tournaments’

India’s largest online poker platform, PokerBaazi, recently wrapped up the “Greatest of All Tournaments” (G.O.A.T). Arun Vijay Mutgi, an IT consultant from Bengaluru, emerged as the champion, earning INR 1.5 Crore in prize money. Spanning 12 days, the second edition of the tournament attracted nearly 17,000 participants and witnesssed a thrilling nine-hour final table showdown featuring well-known Indian poker players vying for massive cash rewards up for grabs.

While Arun Vijay Mutgi secured the top position, winning INR 1.5 Crore, Sreekanth KN from Kerala finished runner-up, also winning a prize of INR 1.5 Crore. Post his grand victory, Mutgi said, “I have been playing poker for a decade, and over time, I’ve come to realize the importance of continually honing my skills and evaluating every move. I believe this significantly contributed to my growth in poker and ultimately led to my victory. I am thrilled to have shared the stage with respected poker players and am grateful to PokerBaazi for providing platforms like ‘The Greatest of All Tournaments,’ which offer opportunities for emerging players like me to showcase their talents on a grand scale.”

Navkiran Singh, Founder and CEO at Baazi Games, reflected on the tournament and extended his congratulations to the champion. The tournament witnessed a notable increase in participation, especially from Maharashtra and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Haryana. States  such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Haryana demonstrated strong representation, making it to the top 10 in terms of participant engagement.
