The most prominent tourney on the AOPS Wednesday schedule was the 15 Lac GTD AOPS Monster Stack. The INR 7,500 buy-in event did really well, drawing in 303 entries to generate a massive INR 21.75 Lac prize pool that was eventually shared by top 30 players with a min-cash of INR 16604.
Coming out on top of the field was none other than the well-known pro Alok ‘APB1989’ Birewar, who outlasted Gagandeep ‘gaganhyd’ Malik (runner-up for INR 3.17 Lac) heads-up to win INR 5.31 Lac.

The other marquee tourney on yesterday’s AOPS schedule was the 15 Lac GTD AOPS Maverick. The event did well, pulling a guarantee-crushing field of 757 entries to collect INR 17.22 Lac in the prize pool that eventually got distributed among the top 82 players with a min-cash of INR 3789.

6 Lac GTD AOPS Moonlight With INR 1800 Buy-in
Another major event on yesterday’s AOPS schedule, the AOPS Moonlight drew a total of 412 entries to easily surpass the guarantee and garner INR 6.76 Lac in the prize pool shared by top 43 players.
In the end, Siddharth ‘gabandheer’ Pandey shipped it for INR 1.39 Lac after a three-way deal with Devvrat ‘glitch_d’ Arya (2nd for INR 1.03 Lakhs) and AOPS Full House champion Md ‘007ShAkuNi’ Zeeshan (3rd for INR 98,344). Also at the final table was Priya Ranjan Das (6th for INR 35135).
It was a big day for Pandey who shipped two back-to-back AOPS titles. He started with a win in the Moonlight and went on to win the final event of the day – the AOPS Afterparty DST for INR 64,000.

Another major tourney, the 5 Lac GTD AOPS Brunch found a winner in Naresh ‘fireexit’ Rathnam who topped a field of 372 entries. Eventually, he agreed to a heads-up deal with tournament reg Rugal ‘daredevilisback’Advani to win INR 1.02 Lac. Advani banked INR 98,446 for his runner-up finish.
Rathnam is a very consistent player. He has been doing pretty well at the ongoing AOPS. On Tuesday, the player made two FT finishes and yesterday he took down the AOPS Brunch tourney.
