The biggest tourney to crown a winner on Day 1 of the APF, the 20 Lac GTD APF The Ballers wrapped up with a grand success, logging in a total of 364 entries to comfortably crush its guarantee and generate INR 24.93 Lac in prizepool that was shared by top 38 players with a min-cash of INR 14960. Banking the lion’s share of the prizepool was Surbhit ‘grovahova’ Grover who eventually outlasted Himanshu ‘bagdwalhimanshu’ Bagdwal (2nd for INR 3.77 Lac) heads-up to bank INR 6.23 Lac. This is the second top finish for Badgwal this week as he had won the Maverick on Wednesday for 3.06 Lac.

The 1 Crore GTD APF Full House sporting a buy-in of INR 5500 played out its second starting flight yesterday. Starting at 7pm, Day 1B registered 273 entries and only 32 players could progress to the event’s Finale happening this Sunday. Carrying the biggest stack forward was last night’s The Ballers FT finisher Kunal Patni who bagged 296k in chips. WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant (252k), ‘hellhell’ (230k), Sanket Arora (230k) and ‘thandicoke (229k) rounded out the top 5 stacks.
